Board of Directors
The APA board is composed of 1 appointed director from each of the utilities that are active members. The board elects officers and conducts its business through quarterly meetings. Directors serve three-year terms. New directors serve the remainder of their predecessor’s term, if any, rather than beginning a new three-year term. The year the board term expires follows each director’s name.

Established by the APA Board of Directors, the Scholarship Committee administers the scholarship programs for the David P. Hutchens Scholarship, the Hank Nikkels Scholarship, and the APA-IBEW 1547 Scholarship for Electrical Workers. The scholarships are funded by proceeds of the ARECA Educational Foundation Auction, grants from the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp., and contributions from IBEW 1547.
