Golden Valley Electric Association: Request for Proposals – IPP Community Solar
Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA) is seeking proposals from qualified Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to finance, design, permit, construct, own, operate, and maintain a minimum 500 kW AC ground-mounted community solar photovoltaic facility on land to be provided by GVEA through a long-term ground lease. In exchange, the selected Proposer will enter into a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GVEA for 100% of the facility’s net energy output and associated environmental attributes.
Please submit an electronic copy of your proposal to the contact person listed below no later than February 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Alaska Time. Any submission after the specified time may be returned to the Bidder unopened. Electronic documents are considered to be received upon entering the GVEA mail server; timeliness will be governed by the time stamp recorded by GVEA’s mail server.
