Essential Responsibilities
Perform as backup initial contact for new construction inquiries to ensure proper
tracking, legal land description, fees, and account information is collected
Compile, categorize, and distribute monthly and annual outage statistics
Perform scheduled outage consumer communications for CVEA’s service territory and
prepare related Trouble Call reports
Update and distribute one-line drawings and sectionalizing diagrams to operations and
generation plants and personnel
Ensure proper archiving of drawings and ensure that CVEA standards are met with all
drawing files
Perform Mapwise and drawing updates
Prepare and distribute necessary outage reports
Responsible for weekly line crew safety meeting minutes and distribution
Perform receptionist duties as needed to include answering the phone, referring
members and visitors to appropriate personnel
Requirements
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
Two years’ general office experience, proficient in Excel, AutoCAD knowledge preferred
A valid, or the ability to obtain, Alaska Driver’s License is required
Area of domicile must be within the CVEA service territory
This position is compensated at $25.01 per hour, in accordance with current IBEW
Collective Bargaining Agreement, and reports to the Operations Manager. There is a 1,040-
hour probationary period for the successful applicant.
