ARECA Insurance Exchange Workshop Focuses on Utility Accident Investigations

Anchorage - ARECA Insurance Exchange (AIE), an Anchorage-based insurance company specializing in insuring electric utilities in Alaska, held its annual workshop in Anchorage on October 17. The workshop focused on utility accident investigation, helping to train electric utility employees to adequately carry out an investigation after an accident occurs.

The training featured topics such as investigation planning, code reviews, real case studies, and hands-on tabletop exercises. Attendees gained skills necessary for conducting timely, confident, and efficient accident investigations. ARECA Insurance Exchange was pleased to welcome back Troy Little, President of BJLM Engineering, as the expert instructor. With over 35 years of experience in the electrical industry and accident investigations, Troy's unparalleled knowledge enhanced attendees' workshop experience.
