Loss Control & Safety Specialist
Don Maynor, Loss Control &Safety Specialist, joined the exchange after a 16-year career with a large electric cooperative in Fairbanks, Alaska. He has extensive experience with electric utility safety and the Alaska regulatory environment.
Maynor holds an associate degree in occupational safety and health, is a Certified Safety Professional, a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist, an ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter & Evacuate) instructor, a Fall Protection competent person trainer, and a First Aid/CPR, AED trainer. He was recognized by his peers with the Safety Professional of the Year award for 2017-2018 from the American Society of Safety Professionals local Midnight Sun Chapter, and previously served on the Alaska Safety Advisory Council.
